Best growing conditions
Full sun position. A minimum night time temperature of 15 º C is required to keep them growing. At 4 º C foliage dieback will occur and an underground tuber will develop. Once this happens the plant will remain dormant until the following spring. They will tolerate in excess of 40 º C.
How to plant
Their use is extended to the landscape industry as they make an exceptional ground cover over large and XL gardens.
Production statistics
They are ideal for production in pots and baskets and give a lush look to mixed patio containers.
