    The Helleborus Gold Collection has set new breeding standards. With new propagation techniques the Gold Collection offers true-to-type varieties and first year flowering uniformity. To be selected to join the Helleborus Gold Collection each variety must pass a stringent criteria for reliability, quality and garden performance. The Gold Collection offers gardeners beautiful winter flowers from whites, to yellows, to burgundy and dark reds.  

    Helleborus Pink Frost

    Flowering from late autumn to early spring. The well formed flowers are coloured light rose and blend to a dark red while maturing. The flowers held high on strong stems are a joy to see during the cooler months. Use in the garden as a low growing perennial ground cover, as a patio table plant or as an indoor decoration in a cool position. The long lasting flowers and foliage of the Helleborus Gold Collection can even be used in cut flower arrangements.

    Plant Care

    The Gold Collection flower best in a semi shaded location with rich, well-drained soil. Avoid full sun. These varieties are an evergreen and will provide a lovely flowering ground cover when underplanted around trees. When planting dig a hole twice the size of the root ball, add rich soil and plant the root ball to the level of the garden. Water in well to establish. Ongoing care is to water as required to keep the plant cool and well watered in hot weather to avoid plant stress. These easy care plants will reward you with flowers for years.

    Production statistics

    Pink Frost has a compact, very vigorous growth habit and is suited to 15-19 cm pots. They are symmetrical and neat with attractive deep green leaves surrounding a beautiful spray of flowers standing tall on fleshy stems.

    This plant has eligibility as a registrable plant variety under section 43(6) of the Plant Breeders Rights Act 1994.
