  • Lomandra glauca Blue Ridge

The DESIGN EDGE® series of grasses are well suited to landscape projects. Their ability to tolerate dry conditions and their heat and cold hardiness make them a reliable performer.

    Powder blue colour

The most distinctive feature of Blue Ridge™ is its powder blue leaves. New seasons leaves are a beautiful powder blue which darkens to green as they mature. From the 2nd season onwards a mixture of blue and green leaves will be present.

    Best growing conditions

Blue Ridge™ can be planted in all climate zones and is tolerant of sandy through to heavy self-mulching clay soil types. It will survive temperatures down to -10 ˚ C. Climate Zones: 1 to 4.

    How to plant

It produces side shoots more slowly compared to other Lomandra varieties, and so should be planted at close spacings of 30 cm to achieve ground coverage and visual impact.

DESIGN EDGE® and Blue Ridge™ are Trade Marks of Sprint Horticulture Pty Ltd
